Videos of my genre of music
The genre of music that I am going to be presenting is, Rap/Hip Hop.
2. Too young - Krept & Konan ft. Yungen
3. Mockingbird - Eminem
4. Bada Bing - Benny Banks
5. Let go - Krept & Konan ft. Lewis Watson
All five of these videos appeal well to the audience watching them, which is helped through the different conventions used in each one. The editing, shot types, setting, storyline and the imagery from the words. All of these things appeal to the viewer and can engage them into the video through a more effective way.
The editing during this video has a positive effect that will keep the viewer engaged and interested:
The shot types are used effectively and can create a different atmosphere and visual change for the viewer; whilst also giving the viewer a feel for the mood set from the beginning.
The setting used in this video can relate to the target audience whilst making the situation seem real and therefore engaging the viewer.
The storyline during this music video is clear and so relates to the audience a lot, whilst also engaging them to carry on watching to see what happens throughout the video and at the end.
The imagery used through the words, setting and what is happening throughout the video can give an affect on the viewer to keep watching and feel as though it is appealing to them.
